Learning expectations for all students will start on Monday, March 30, 2020, and continue through “Distance Learning” plans, which will serve and count as student contact days. Thank you for partnering with us as we strive to provide meaningful, Minnesota State Standards aligned, learning plans for all of our RTR students.

These lessons, developed by our teachers, are designed to maintain academic progress, continue instruction, and provide an accountable means for students to demonstrate their learning. Students are required to complete assignments and teachers are required to assess student learning. Any students that fails to participate in our RTR Distance Learning Program will not receive credit for those applicable classes.

Teachers will communicate the scheduled times for classroom participation, when electronic assignments are due, and when the hard-copy materials will be delivered and picked up for those students who do not have access to assignments electronically. Teachers will be available via email or by phone from 7:50 a.m. - 3:50 p.m. on distance learning school days. Teacher contact information can be found at the bottom of each distance learning plan.

The District will deliver and pick up hard-copy materials on Mondays of each week to all students in Preschool – Grade 3. In the event other students need hard-copy materials, contact your respective school to schedule a pick-up time. Printing the packet material is not necessary as assignments can be completed on lined or unlined paper.  Completed assignments should be submitted electronically whenever possible. *** Instructional support videos will be available for some lessons. *** Hard-Copy Materials will be delivered each Monday.  Completed assignments will be picked up at this time. ***
