RTR School Bond Tax Impact & Informational Meeting

On Thursday, January 24, 2019, 7:00 p.m., in the High School Gymnasium in Tyler, MN, there will be a detailed presentation of the RTR Bond Tax Impact & Information for all District Voters. Presenting and answering questions at this meeting will be professionals from CO-OP Architecture on design, R.A. Morton as our Construction Manager on costs of project, Springsted Financial on Bond Tax Impact, and RTR School Administration on election details.
With the facilities improvement election to be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., it is important that all voters obtain current and accurate information in order to make an informed decision in voting on the following ballot question:
RTR School District Ballot Question 1
Shall the board of Independent School District No. 2902 (Russell-Tyler-Ruthton) be authorized to close and demolish, if necessary, some or all of its three existing school facilities and to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $35,000,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction and equipping of a new (PreK-12) school facility and related site improvements, in Tyler, Minnesota, to replace the closed school facilities?
