High School

RTR High School in Tyler is at the center of the three districts. Tyler is a convenient, safe, and attractive community.

Our FFA, run by two excellent teachers, involves over 100 students. Various teams have placed at State and National Competitions.

Our Music Department, run by Kathy and Todd Peterson, is outstanding. The 2003-04 contest season brought home three excellent ratings for the choir, three superior ratings for the band and a superior rating for Sidewalls, Jazz Band, and Swing Choir. The RTR students earned thirty-seven superior ratings and seventeen excellent ratings.

Our computer graphics department uses an Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Go Live, Live Motion, Premier, After Effects, Pagemaker, and Illustrator. They are also involved with the Cisco Academy for Web Page Development.

Our business department uses Microsoft's Office Suite 2000 which includes Word, Excell, Access, and Powerpoint. We administer to students the Microsoft Mouse Training Certification pretests as part of our curriculum.
