PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association)
Our goal is to enhance the education of our students and promote welfare of our children.
PTSA sponsors several events throughout the school year.
In 2007-08, we are proud of the following:
-Busing for all field trips
-T-shirts for all elementary student and staff for field day
-Music for the Christmas concert
-Raptor Center nature visit
-Aladdin play in Brookings as well as busing
-Homecoming headbands
-Planners and Friday folders
-Teacher Appreciation Week
-Headsets for the computer lab
-Letter tiles and easy reader strips
We do one big fundraiser a year with CLUB CHOICE frozen food. We also collect the following:
Box Tops Milk caps
Campbell’s Labels Ink Cartridges
Cell Phones Nestle Water Labels
We are looking for resources, new ideas, input, getting to know parents, minimal volunteer time and this is a great way for more communication between parents and staff. To join, it costs $5.00.
