Text Box: SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
BUY-ONE-GET-ONE-FREE

Starting next week we will have the Book Fair open for you.  You will be able to see the books and purchase on Wednesday, April 30th and May 7th.  The Book Fair will also be open the evening of your musical concert.  The rest of the days, it can be opened for a short time.
Clifford the Big Red Dog will once again be at our concert.  He will be greeting you and be available for pictures.  Clifford will be handing out a prize to one person in each classroom.  Every time you purchase a book from the Book Fair, your name will go into a drawing for a free book.  Clifford will choose the lucky person from each classroom.  Please be kind to Clifford…it hurts when you pull his tail!
Parents, you need to keep your child reading during summer vacation.  This prepares them for their next school year in reading and comprehension.  Students who read during the summer are more than ready to start the school year.  Please shut off the television, computers, and other electronic games for part of the day.  Encourage your child to spend time with a book and to spend time enjoying the outdoors.  Sometimes they can do both at the same time!

Text Box: Language camp registration is still being accepted.  Camp will be in Lynd June 9 to 12 and June 16 to 19.  If you need a registration pamphlet, please contact the office.
Text Box: Reminders from the office:
NO cell phones or electronic gaming devices are allowed at school or on the bus.  This includes Nintendo DS, GameBoy and Sony PSP.  If brought to school, they will be taken from your child for the day.

Your child(ren)’s lunch account needs to be paid in full or they will not be allowed to attend their class field trip.
