PAUL AND MARILYN STORK ENDOWMENT

Paul and Marilyn Stork, former residents of Tyler, donated $100,000 to the RTR Dollars for Scholars Endowment fund in 2003.  The growth from these funds will be used for scholarships for students attending Vocational Institutions.  Four scholarships were granted in 2005.

SCHWANS FOOD COMPANY

 The Schwans Food Company contributed $2000 to our Scholarship Foundation for the past two years.  With this money, they requested we give half to graduating seniors and half to be placed into the endowment fund.  Two Schwans Food Company Scholarships were presented in May of 2005.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION

The Board of Directors would like to give special recognition to Lil Streater who passed away in 2005.  Lil has been a strong supporter financially for our organization over the past years.  Her initial gift of $5000 in 2002 enabled us to receive our $10,000 matching gift from Schwans.  She continued to give generously over the next years.  We are grateful to Lil for her support of education.
